    Microscopic vocal cord surgery is always performed in an operating room under general anesthesia. The vocal cords are accessed through the mouth and visualized with a microscope. During the surgery, surgical procedures are performed with long, very delicate instruments. These are generally short surgeries lasting about 1-2 hours. <\/p>

    What is the Recovery Like After Microscopic Vocal Cord Surgery?<\/strong><\/h5>

    Although microscopic vocal cord surgery requires meticulous and patient work involving fine motor skills, it offers comfortable surgical experiences for patients. Patients can be discharged within a few hours after the surgery. Since the procedure is performed through the mouth, mild throat pain may be observed post-surgery.
